Five Local Teams In Action Tonight

So much for easing into the college basketball season.

Five area Division I teams play tonight, starting at 6 with the Gonzaga-Eastern Washington women’s game at Reese Court in Cheney.

That game will be followed at roughly 8 by the EWU men, who take on Western Montana. The Eagles (1-1) split a pair of games during the weekend, beating Grambling before losing to nationally ranked New Mexico.

Two men’s games tip off at 7 - St. Martin’s at Gonzaga and Seattle Pacific at Washington State.

Gonzaga (0-1) looks to rebound from Saturday night’s 71-47 loss to Southern Utah, while WSU (1-0) tries to build on Saturday afternoon’s 71-66 victory over Boise State.
