Pipeline Easement Deadline Dec. 31

People wanting an easement to run water ditches, pipelines and the like across Forest Service land must file an application by Dec. 31.

To qualify, the water transportation system has to be solely for agricultural irrigation or livestock watering. It also must have been in continuous operation since before Oct. 21, 1976.

The applicant also must have a valid state water right, a map of the facility, and evidence of the facility’s use and history.
