Mckanstry Leads Nic To Win

Tuesday’s late games

Andre McKanstry connected on nine of 15 shots from the floor and finished with a game-high 23 points to lead North Idaho College to a 94-78 win over host Yakima Valley on Tuesday.

The Cardinals held a whopping 50-29 advantage on the boards and outshot the Indians 21-10 at the free-throw line.

NIC’s Shawn Myrick finished with 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Bo Johnson tossed in 19 points.

Yakima Valley was led by Neal Robertson’s 22 points.

Janelle Ruen almost single-handedly outscored the Wildcats with a game-high 29 points in the Trojans’ lopsided non-league win.

Post Falls (1-1) used an 18-8 secondquarter run to pull away from Kellogg (1-1).

Ruen was 12 for 16 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, and made 9 of 10 foul shots.
