Fullerton Strolls Past Eastern

College women

Cal State Fullerton used the 25-point, nine-rebound effort of Justine McMahan to hand visiting Eastern Washington an 84-54 defeat in a non-conference women’s college basketball game Friday night in Fullerton, Calif.

The loss was the first in three games for the Eagles, who fell behind 46-28 at halftime.

McMahan got plenty of scoring help from Dee Braxton, who finished with 11 points, and Kristin Sigg and Erin Whiteside, who each added 10.

But the Titans (2-0) did even more damage defensively, forcing Eastern into 29 turnovers.

The Eagles, who were outrebounded 40-32, were paced offensively by Tracy Ford, who scored 11 points. She was the only EWU player in double figures.
