Congratulations on Valleyfest

Congratulations to Peggy Doering, her committee, the many volunteers and sponsors of Valleyfest.

Valleyfest ‘96 was a wonderful event, and I feel extremely fortunate to have been invited to share in the festivities.

Thank you all for the opportunity to be grand marshall of the parade.

I had a wonderful time and it was the first time in seven years that I got to see the start of the parade.

Enjoying the success this year was a lot like the feeling your experience when your first child leaves home. Valleyfest has indeed come of age.
