Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I’m not sure if you would consider this a household hint or not. I’m a family photo buff.

Every time someone in the family gets married or is in the local newspaper for something or other, I clip out the pictures or announcements for the family album. Well, before I put the clipping in the album, I do my trick.

I have clear self-adhesive shelving paper and I put the newspaper clipping between the two sheets, cut off the excess and, just like that, I have a laminated clipping to put in my album. - Smitty from Upstate New York

Your hint will be very useful in later years. If someone needs family history for a genealogical project, you will have a wealth of information. - Heloise

Dear Heloise: Don’t throw away the plastic foam peanuts that come with packages. If thrown away, they can get loose and go everywhere.

I put them in a bag, close tightly and give them to a mail and packaging shop where they are appreciated and will be used again. - A Reader, Dallas
