House Fire Kills 3 Kids, Injures 4

Three young children died and three more were critically injured when a fire swept through a house early Sunday.

An empty gasoline can was found nearby, and firefighters believe the blaze was set intentionally.

A seventh child was in fair condition at Children’s Hospital, where all the injured children - all under age 6 - were taken.

Four other children and a pregnant woman escaped the 4 a.m. fire by leaping from a second-floor window. Another child came to the window but apparently was too frightened to jump, neighbors said.
