Forward Joey Leonetti scored twice from four yards late in the second half as the Seattle Sounders won their second straight A-League title Sunday by defeating the Rochester Raging Rhinos 2-0.
The game was marred by 17 foul calls, five cautions, the ejection of Seattle forward Niall Thompson, several near-brawls and an injury that sent Rhinos goalkeeper Bill Andracki to a hospital.
Andracki was replaced in goal by Rett Thompson, who had played a total of 19 minutes in one game this season.
Leonetti broke a scoreless tie at 71:20 on a fierce right-footed cross from winger Jason Farrell.
