No. 2 Western Downs Linfield, 32-14

Ryan Wiggins rushed for 200 yards and a touchdown as Western Washington, ranked No. 2 among NAIA Division II schools, defeated No. 23 Linfield 32-14 Saturday in Bellingham, Wash.

Wade Gebers connected on a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter - making him Western’s career kick scoring leader. A 32-yarder in the second quarter made him the Columbia Football Association’s career kick scoring leader.

Kenny Russaw caught seven passes for 104 yards and three touchdowns as Central Washington (2-3) spoiled Puget Sound’s homecoming with a 43-7 win at Tacoma. The Loggers fell to 0-4.

At Puyallup, Wash., Peter Finstuen scored five touchdowns and rushed for a school record 292 yards as Pacific Lutheran (3-1) beat Western Oregon (2-3) 49-30. PLU travels to Whitworth next Saturday.
