Volunteers Face Horror To Help Kids

Picture dozens of children crammed into a dark hallway, children so thin the few clothes they have just hang from them, so hungry they will grab food from another child’s mouth.

A group of 13 volunteers from our region met these children last month when they traveled to Romania to help repair an orphanage. The volunteers weren’t prepared for the horror they found. But they learned what they could do to help.
