Film Will Profile George Wallace

The life of controversial former Alabama Gov. George Wallace is being turned into a movie for cable’s TNT. Production will start on the project in January, with Gary Sinise playing Wallace.

Wallace’s segregationist politics placed him in the spotlight from the early ‘60s until 1972, when an assassination attempt ended his run for the White House.
