Nic To Auction Unusual Items

A fly-fishing trip, a nature walk and a stuffed cabbage dinner for four are among 73 packages that will be sold at the People’s Auction on Saturday.

The North Idaho College Alumni Association will host the 7 p.m. event, which is open to the public. Admission is $1 and proceeds will be used to start a book scholarship fund.

It will be held in the Edminster Student Union Building on the NIC campus.

Faculty, students, alumni and businesses are contributing a variety of unusual items and experiences. They range from a fishing trip to Alaska valued at $1,500 to a specially created poem.
