ANALYSIS

San Diego’s offense isn’t too complicated. Physical linemen push forward, running backs run up their backsides, and, on occasion, QB Humphries wings a long pass for the quick strike.

Seattle’s primary concern will be holding its position, despite a linebacking corp depleted by injury. However, the Hawks’ defensive front has been especially tough in preseason and they’ll need to show it today.

Hawks’ offense, meanwhile, has far more proven weapons and should be able to find the end zone. The two big ifs - a restructured offensive line and up-and-down quarterback Rick Mirer. If they’re both on, Seattle wins by a TD; if not, Chargers by a field goal.
