Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident Near Inchelium
Washington State Patrol troopers and Colville tribal police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred Friday morning.
Troopers responded to a call of an accident at Twin Lakes Road, six miles west of Inchelium, at 7:31 a.m. They found Tamra L. Michel, 24, of Inchelium, lying in the middle of road. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman may have been run over as early as 5:30, state patrol officer Brad Miller said.
