Seldon Wants Hit Tape

Compiled From Wire Services

Bruce Seldon’s favorite fight tape is that of James “Buster” Douglas, a 42-1 shot knocking out Mike Tyson.

Now Seldon wants to produce a memorable tape of himself, a 23-1 underdog, beating Tyson Saturday night at the MGM Grand.

“This is the fight that will lift me to super stardom,” the WBA heavyweight champion said. “I want it to be a fight that will be remembered.”

Seldon said he’s watched the tape of Douglas’ 10th round knockout of Tyson Feb. 11, 1990, numerous times and “one thing he said after that fight was that the way he beat Mike Tyson was to stay relaxed.”
