Laserpalooza At Sports Dome

With the continued popularity of the Lollapalooza tour, it’s not surprising that a laser-light extravaganza called Laserpalooza has come along, featuring bands of past Lollapalooza tours.

Laserpalooza will show at Fore Seasons Sports Dome, 7115 E. Cataldo, tonight through Sunday.

What the show entails is a host of visual and laser effects choreographed to recorded music. It’s all produced with state-of-the-art equipment, similar to that used at concerts.

If done right, a laser show can be quite spectacular.

The bands that will be represented in this hour-plus show include Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, the Beastie Boys, Alice in Chains and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Showtimes for the next three nights are 9 and 10:30 p.m. and midnight. There is no seating. Fore Seasons is a driving range with Astro-turf, so bring a blanket to sit on. Tickets are $7.25 per show and are available at all G&B outlets.
