Collision Between Car, Truck Injures Post Falls Woman

A Post Falls woman was injured Thursday after she ran into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 90 between Sullivan and Pines in the Spokane Valley.

Valerie Scott, 48, was eastbound on I-90 about 9:30 p.m. when she hit the back of the semi-truck driven by Michael Hansen of Cottage Grove, Ore., the Washington State Patrol reported.

Scott, who was wearing a seat belt, lost control of her 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix, crossed the westbound lanes and smashed into a fence. She sustained neck, chest and head injuries. Hansen was not hurt. , DataTimes
