Bettor Wins Over $64,000

Chris Loseth booted Name for Norm to victory in the $50,000 Northwest Stallion Stakes on a damp Saturday afternoon at Emerald Downs.

One bettor, Tom Strickland, won $64,700.80 in the Pick-6 exotic wager. Strickland, of Monroe, selected two horses in each race on his $128 winning ticket at Neal’s Nightcap Restaurant, a Mountlake Terrace satellite wagering site.

Name for Norm covered the 6-1/2 furlongs in 1:17.2, winning by 5 lengths in a field of nine 2-year-old colts and geldings. Name for Norm paid $4.20, $2.80 and $2.40.
