Actress Jane Baxter Succumbs At 87
Actress Jane Baxter, who starred in the first stage production of the popular thriller “Dial M for Murder” during a career that spanned 53 years, has died. She was 87.
Baxter ended an affair with actor Ronald Colman in the mid-1930s rather than move to Hollywood.
She occasionally appeared in the British TV sitcom “Upstairs, Downstairs” in the 1970s, playing a mischievous viscountess.
