Polio Outbreak In Albania Kills 7

Associated Press

An outbreak of polio in Albania has killed seven people and stricken 66 others.

The number of cases in Albania is higher than this year’s total for the rest of Europe, the World Health Organization said Wednesday in a statement from its office in Copenhagen. So far this year the U.N. agency has recorded only 10 cases in Turkey and one in Ukraine.
