New Doe Hunt Opens

Washington hunters 65 or older or under 15, can shoot antlerless deer during the general buck season in game units 105 through 145.

Most of the units are north of the Snake River in the Spokane region, but a few are south of the river.

No special permit is necessary to shoot an antlerless deer in this new special hunting opportunity that opens Oct. 12. Seniors and youths in these age groups need only a hunting license and a deer tag.
