Pickup Collision With Semi Kills 1

A 52-year-old Rathdrum man was killed Friday when he pulled his pickup truck in front of an oncoming semi.

Dale E. Dozah died at the accident scene on state Highway 41.

Steve R. Brusseau, 45, of Fernwood, Idaho, was driving his truck south on Highway 41 near Twin Lakes about 2:14 a.m., according to an Idaho State Police report.

Dozah pulled out into Brusseau’s path, according to the report. The wreckage closed the highway for three hours.

Brusseau was taken to Kootenai Medical Center where he was treated and released.
