Ex-Laker at Church of Nazarene

Jay Carty, former Los Angeles Lakers player and the founder of Yes Ministries, will be at the Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene this Sunday Monday and Tuesday.

Carty uses humor to get his message across. When people ask the former basketball player about his height - Carty is 6-foot-8 - he “likes to tell people he’s 5-foot-20,” says church administrator Steve Wilson.

Carty will speak at the 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. services on Sunday and at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. There is no charge and all are welcome to attend.
