General To Quit

Israel’s army chief is planning to quit over the government’s handling of clashes this week between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers, a London newspaper reported.

The Sunday Times reported Lt. Gen. Amnon Lipkin-Shahak has written his resignation letter. The report was denied in Jerusalem.
