Mr. And Mrs. Franz Hayden Lake

Jim and Lois Franz, Hayden Lake, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today with a surprise reception at the Ironhorse Restaurant.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Mary and Bob Jones, Wichita, Kan., Kathie Fiessinger, James Jr. and Heather Franz, all of Hayden Lake, Jamie and Mark Pharis, Post Falls, Susan Franz and Raue Ellis, Rathdrum, and Kristi Blazer, Helena, Mont.

Married Sept. 29, 1956, in Spokane, the couple has 10 grandchildren.
