Mr. And Mrs. Groth Fairfield, Wash.

Carl and Margie Groth, Fairfield, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Fairfield’s Zion Lutheran Church from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Nancy and Dick Piersol, Spangle; David Groth, Plummer, Idaho; and Susan and Bergen Bothman, Fairfield.

The Groths were married Oct. 6, 1946, in Fairfield. They have nine grandchildren.
