Father At 77

At age 77, actor Tony Randall is a father for the first time. The baby - Julia Laurette - was born at 12:05 a.m. Friday at Beth Israel Hospital to Heather Randall, the former Heather Harlan. “She really and truly was pregnant,” Randall said with an air of wonder. In the realm of fatherhood, Randall was already planning an encore. “Yes,” he said, “I want to have another right away.” Randall, a widower after 54 years of marriage, and Harlan, a member of his National Actors Theater, were married by New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in 1995.
