Boeing, Speea Reach Agreement

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Boeing Co. and the union representing its technical employees have reached agreement on several issues involving Boeing’s planned joint venture with FlightSafety International.

But the Seattle Professional Engineering Employees Association said it will not drop an unfair labor practices complaint, because the company refuses to negotiate on important issues of union representation and employee benefits.

SPEEA Executive Director Charles Bofferding hailed the agreement as “a good first step,” but said larger issues remain unresolved.
