Portland and Washington, D.C., have been chosen to host the national soccer team’s next two home World Cup qualifiers on Sept. 7 and Oct. 3.

The U.S. will play Costa Rica on Sept. 7 at Portland Civic Stadium. Less than a month later, the Americans will host Jamaica at RFK Stadium. The games are the Americans’ sixth and seventh in their 10-game series to qualify for the 1998 World Cup in France.
