After The Beach, Wrap Up In A Pareo

This season’s hot new item at the beach is the pareo (pronounced pa-ray-oh). It’s a versatile little scarf cover-up that can be worn a number of ways, according to swimsuit maker Land’s End.

For a halter look, wrap the pareo around your mid-back; bring ties to the front. Criss-cross the ends just above the bustline and tie them behind your neck.

Use it for a shawl by wrapping the pareo around you shoulders; tie loosely over the bust.

Wrap the pareo around your hips and tie at the waist for a skirted silhouette.

For an asymmetrical shoulder tie, wrap the pareo around your midback; bring one end under your arm, across your chest and hold it at the opposite shoulder. Flip the other end over your shoulder and tie.
