Gordon-Wallace Showdown?

Jeff Gordon, who won the fall race on the same Martinsville Speedway’s .526-mile oval, will start fourth in today’s Goody’s Headache Powder 500. The 25-year-old driver comes into the 500-lap event having won four of the last eight short-track events he has started.

Rusty Wallace enters today’s race having won five of the last eight races, including the last four spring events. Wallace will start 15th in the 42-car field.

Kenny Wallace of St. Louis, earned the first position. Spokane’s Chad Little will start 33rd.
