Former Coeur D’Alene Newsman Dies Of Apparent Heart Attack
Barry Casebolt, a former executive editor of the Coeur d’Alene Press, has died at a hospital in Minnesota. He was 55.
Casebolt suffered an apparent heart attack on April 13 while playing tennis at his home in LeRoy, Minn. He died Monday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Casebolt was a former resident of Post Falls and worked for the Coeur d’Alene Press from October 1989 to September 1994. He and his wife, Sara, were publishers of two weekly newspapers, the LeRoy Independent and the Lime Springs Herald in Lime Springs, Iowa.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy.
