Swedes Dump Norway

Sweden defeated Norway 4-1 for its third victory at the hockey world championships.

Sweden now is virtually certain to advance to the medal round. Norway fell to 0-3.

The 12-nation tournament has two pools of six teams each, with the top three from each advancing.

In Pool A in Helsinki, Finland (2-1) romped 6-0 over Germany.
