State Line Family Flees Burning Cabin

From Staff And Wire Reports

Fire destroyed a cabin early Friday in a wooded area near State Line.

The fire appears to have started in the rear of the cabin, which was home to a couple and their child.

All three escaped uninjured, said Mike Denney of the Mica office of the Department of Lands. The family’s name was not released.

Fire also burned about a quarter-acre around the home, about seven miles south of Interstate 90 in the Liberty Lake drainage. , DataTimes
