Men Plead Guilty To Prostitution Charges

Associated Press

Two brothers from Tacoma have pleaded guilty to charges of bringing four women, including a minor, to Hawaii from Canada and Washington state to work as prostitutes in Waikiki.

Andre Louis Young, 30, and Frederick Jerome Young, 32, will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Alan Kay on Nov. 3. The brothers were indicted on March 27 and were arrested in Washington state in April.

The men were accused of arranging travel to Hawaii for the women and teaching them about prostitution and stealing from customers. Prosecutors said the men housed the women in apartments and hotel rooms and received proceeds from prostitution.

Three of the women were from Canada and a 16-year-old girl was from Washington state.
