Separate Drug Raids Yield 3 Arrests, Meth, Marijuana

Three Spokane residents were arrested in unrelated drug raids netting methamphetamine and marijuana Friday.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Investigative Support Unit raided the home and business of Charles V. Materne, 44, where they found methamphetamine.

The owner of Materne Sand and Gravel was booked on felony possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and several counts of delivery of a controlled substance, deputies said.

In an unrelated raid at 7023 N. Market, detectives found a large quantity of harvested marijuana and five plants, deputies said.

The residents, Julie Ann and Jerry Allen Christensen, 38 and 41 respectively, were booked on felony charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. , DataTimes
