Six Injured In Crash At Highway 41 Crossing

A two-car accident at the intersection of Idaho Highway 41 and Prairie Avenue sent six people to a hospital late Friday night, none with serious injuries.

Vivian L. Asbury, 72, of Hayden Lake, was hospitalized overnight at Kootenai Medical Center. Katrina Asbury, 6, Angela Asbury, 5, and Christopher Asbury, 11, also were taken to Kootenai Medical Center, treated and released.

Keith Jordan, 36, and Linda Jordan, 48, both of Rathdrum, were treated in the emergency room and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The accident occurred at 11:12 p.m., the Idaho State Police said.

Linda Jordan was driving a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 west on Prairie Avenue and was making a left turn onto Highway 41. She collided with a 1990 Chrysler LeBaron, driven by Eugene V. Asbury, 77, of Hayden Lake.

Eugene Asbury was the only person not taken to the hospital.

No citations were issued pending the completion of the investigation, the state police said. , DataTimes
