Air Pollution Reports

A total of 22 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between August 4 and August 9.

The most common complaint, odors, was reported nine times.

August 4

Odors were reported at 2311 W. 16th No. 238 at 5:33 a.m.

Odors were reported at Koch Asphalt at 6:33 a.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 1500 block N. Bowman Road at 10:40 a.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 800 block S. Gerry Road at 3:35 p.m.

August 5

Smoke in the air was reported in Millwood area at 2:25 p.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 100 block S. Westcliff at 9:40 a.m.

Dust from unpaved lot was reported at 6100 block E. Trent at 1:20 p.m.

Odors were reported at Baker Commodities at 9:25 p.m.

August 7

Dust from construction was reported at Broadway and Sullivan at 8:39 a.m.

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, were reported at 5321 E. 27th at 9:30 a.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 800 block S. Gerry Ave. at 4 p.m.

Odors were reported at 702 W. 3rd at 4:20 p.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 14900 block N. Newport Highway at 4:56 p.m.

August 8

Odors were reported at 6400 block W. Rowand at 11:08 a.m.

Dust from unpaved road was reported at Griffith Road off State Highway 904 at 10:15 a.m.

Odors were reported at Baker Commodities at 11:55 a.m.

Odors were reported at Baker Commodities at 1:20 p.m.

Odors from compost were reported at Waste to Energy Plant at 2:20 p.m.

Dust from go-cart track was reported at 6600 block N. Regal at 3:40 p.m.

Odors from compost were reported at Colbert Compost Facility at 3:17 p.m.
