La-Z-Boy To Open Two Spokane Stores

From Staff And Wire Reports

La-Z-Boy Inc. will open two new stores in Spokane on Friday.

The two stores, at 10205 N. Division and 11707 E. Sprague, will comprise 30,000 square feet of space devoted to La-Z-Boy recliners, sofas, furniture and leather upholstery.

The store on East Sprague has been open since 1978, but has been dramatically remodeled, said Bruce Eckhardt, general manager.

“You don’t see the rows and rows of chairs anymore like you used to,” Eckhardt said, explaining that La-Z-Boy has expanded its product lines since the store opened.

Both La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries will feature four major areas, devoted to living room, family room and leather furniture and a chair gallery.

Both stores, and a warehouse at 3200 E. Trent, are owned by Dick and Pete Scroggs of Aberdeen. , DataTimes
