Compiled From Wire Services

A fire intentionally set in a pile of yard waste behind a Hayden house early Monday caused minor damage to a fence and railroad tie.

The fire was discovered about 3 a.m. in a small pile of corn stalks, corn husks and weeds. Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies determined the fire was intentionally set, but have no suspects.

No one was home when the first started behind the house at 823 W. Hayden. , DataTimes
