Paving Slows Traffic Near Kellogg
Traffic delays started Tuesday on Interstate 90 between Kellogg and Silverton.
Crews are applying a seal coat to 6.5 miles of paving work. That includes a layer of crushed rock.
Motorists can expect minor delays as flaggers guide traffic through the work zone. Drivers are being asked to hold to 35 mph for worker safety and to decrease chances of damage from flying rock chips.
Workers from Poe Asphalt of Lewiston will be working from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The project should be finished Thursday, weather permitting.
