Men With Guns Rob Christmas Tree Lot

Two men with guns robbed a north Spokane Christmas tree lot Sunday, Spokane sheriff’s deputies said.

The owner of the tree lot at Calispel and Francis told deputies that he and an employee were in a trailer when two men walked in with guns and demanded money.

They were handed the cash register and escaped on foot, deputies said.

The first suspect was described as 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.

He wore jeans, a dark ski mask and jacket and was armed with a silver semiautomatic pistol.

The second suspect was described as 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall and thin.

He was wearing dark jeans, a police-drab fatigue jacket, a ski mask and was armed with a shotgun.
