Secret Witness is looking for information about a north Spokane County vandalism spree that caused thousands of dollars in damage over the weekend.

At least 20 homes in the area of the 17000 to 17300 blocks of Golden Road and the 16900 to 17100 blocks of Triple Butte Circle had mail boxes and brass lamps smashed sometime between Friday evening and 8 a.m. Saturday, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said.

Lamps were disassembled and smashed on the ground. Mail boxes were torn off their mounts and thrown into nearby yards, deputies said.

While investigating, sheriff’s Deputy Chuck Haley found wine bottles near the scene, blood stains on some of the lamps and bottles as well as fingerprints, deputies said.

Secret Witness is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of suspects.

Anyone with information should call 327-5111.

Callers are urged to use a code name or number for future contact about the cash reward.
