Tickets for the first two rounds of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament Saturday and Sunday in Pullman are on sale at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office.
Washington State, which plays Lehigh at 8 p.m. in a first-round match as part of Saturday’s doubleheader, said that because of the number of inquiries for Rose Bowl tickets, fans wishing to obtain volleyball tickets can do so only at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. through Friday.
Volleyball season-ticket holders with reserved seats can purchase their same seats for the tournament by calling (509) 335-1515 no later than Wednesday noon.
Both reserved and general admission tickets can be purchased in two-day or one-day packages.
Tickets are $20 reserved for two days, $12 for one day, with general admission $14 for adults, $6 for students and $4 for youth for two days, and $8, $5 and $2 for one.
The NCAA does not allow WSU students to use sports passes for any playoff contests.
Saturday night’s first round begins in Bohler Gym at 6 p.m. when 21st-ranked Colorado State (26-5), coached by former University of Idaho head man Tom Hilbert, takes on American University (30-3). No. 11 WSU (24-6) and Lehigh (18-12) follow.
The winners play Sunday at 2 p.m. for the right to advance to the Central Region finals.
WSU is also hosting the 1997 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championships Dec. 18 and 20 in the Spokane Arena. Approximately 650 tickets remain. For information on the finals, call 325-SEAT or (800) 325-SEAT.
