Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: Here’s a hint I use in my sewing room. I buy cutlery trays in different colors and use them for my thread collection, such as red for the red thread, beige for the beige, etc. I then just have to pull out the tray color I need. Lou Skinner, San Antonio

Dear Heloise: We use a large decorated popcorn tin to hold scoop litter. The tin holds two large jugs of litter. I use a large plastic cup to replace the litter.

The box is on a piece of carpet behind a chair in an unused bedroom. The popcorn tin is very pretty. - Rita Belot, Fort Wayne, Ind.
