June Reynolds Hayden, Idaho

Memorial service for June Marie Reynolds, 78, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene.

Mrs. Reynolds, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday.

She had lived most of her life in North Idaho and settled in Hayden Lake.

She had worked for Ponsness-Warren in Rathdrum during the 1960s and 1970s and was also a homemaker.

Mrs. Reynolds and her husband, Rich, spent winters in Arizona following his retirement.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hayden.

Her husband died in 1993.

Survivors include four daughters, Cathy Evans of Spokane, Sheri Harvey of Kamloops, British Columbia, Nickie Wright of Azle, Texas and Boots Daugherty of Vancouver, Wash.; a twin brother, Roy Kramer of Lynnwood, Wash.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Idamae L’Homme Milton-Freewater, Ore.

Graveside service for Idamae L’Homme, a former Spokane resident, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Mountain View Funeral Chapel in Walla Walla is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. L’Homme, who was born in Portland, died Tuesday. She was 89.

She graduated from high school in Elgin, Ore.

In 1937 she married Jack L’Homme in Stephenson, Wash., and they resided in Spokane from 1946 to 1972. She moved to Milton-Freewater in 1972.

Mrs. L’Homme worked as a sales clerk in retail clothing stores. She worked for several years at JC Penny in Spokane and LaMona’s in Milton-Freewater.

Her husband died in 1970.

She is survived by a son, James Sampson Jr. of Athena, Ore.; two grandsons; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren.

Ivan Harruff Odessa, Wash.

Service for Ivan Harruff, 87, will be at 11 a.m. today at Heritage United Church of Christ in Odessa. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport, Wash. is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at the Odessa Cemetery.

Mr. Harruff, who was born in Marion, Ohio, died Sunday.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Harruff worked as a building contractor and lived in the Kettle Falls, Wash., and Chewelah, Wash., areas for several years before moving to Odessa six years ago.

He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the El Katif Shrine, Scottish Rite, Elks Lodge 228, Tyrian Masonic Lodge 96 all of Spokane, Eagles Lodge 2797 of Colville, Kettle Falls Masonic Lodge 130 and the American Federation of Police.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Miller-Harruff; and a sister, Idella Houser of New Jersey.

Judd Thompson Grand Junction, Colo.

Memorial service for Judd B. Thompson, 50, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Thompson, who was born in Spokane, died Saturday.

He graduated from Rogers High School and was a medic during the Vietnam War.

After the war, he moved back to Spokane and worked as a heart by-pass perfusionist.

Mr. Thompson lived in Vancouver, Wash., Casper, Wyo., and for the last five years, Grand Junction.

He was on the National Perfusion Certification Board.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; three sons, Dane Thompson of Grand Junction, Judd Thompson III of Ogden, Utah, and Clint Thompson of Boise; six daughters, Nicole Thompson and Shanna Long, both of Ogden, Sheri Thompson of Casper, Wyo., and Tonya Werner and Stephanie Thompson, both of Grand Junction; his mother and step-father, Ivy and Les Shaw of Deer Lake, Wash.; his father, Herbert Thompson of McMinnville, Ore.; two sisters, Sandra Lockner and Diana Hughes, both of Spokane; his grandmother, Rita Gardner of Chattaroy; and seven grandchildren.

Betty Virtue Spokane

Memorial service for Betty Jean Virtue, 71, is set for 1 p.m. today at Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Virtue, who was born in Great Falls, Mont., died Tuesday.

She graduated from Holy Names Academy and then from Sacred Heart Nursing College.

Mrs. Virtue worked as a registered nurse at numerous local health care facilities.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; two sons, Stephen Corkery of Spokane and Thomas Corkery of Spirit Lake, Idaho; seven daughters, Katheleen Emerson and Maureen Cleveland, both of Fairfield, Mont., Colleen Davidson of Calgary, Alberta, Peggy Smith and Betsie Dobyns, both of Spokane, Evie Mercer of Port Orchard, Wash., and Patty Jo Johnson of Chester, Mont.; a brother, Charles Cutz of Tigard, Ore.; a sister, Evelyn McDonnell of Billings, Mont.; 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lilac Blind Foundation.

Norman McMichael Spokane

Joint funeral service for Norman Lee McMichael, 41, and his niece, Breanna McMichael, will be at 1 p.m. today at Pines Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A lifetime resident of Spokane, Mr. McMichael died Monday.

He served in the Navy and later worked as an automobile mechanic at Foothills Lincoln Mercury Mazda for many years until his early retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Dalen McMichael of Moses Lake and Derek McMichael of Spokane; his father, Dalen McMichael of Spokane; two brothers, Bob McMichael of Woodinville, Wash., and Dalen McMichael of Auburn, Wash.

Patricia Jensen Spokane

Memorial service for Patricia M. Jensen, 66, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. David’s Episcopal Church. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jensen, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Monday.

She worked as a waitress for 10 years at the Ridpath Hotel.

Survivors include by a son, Kim Asplund of Spokane; a daughter, Patricia Raether of Manitowoc, Wisc.; two brothers, Joseph and Leo; two sisters, Pauline and Margaret; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Jo Alice ‘Jody’ Crawfort McMinnville, Ore.

Service for Jo Alice “Jody” Crawfort, 64, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Macy and Son Funeral Home in McMinnville. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in McMinnville.

Mrs. Crawfort, who was born in Aline, Okla., died Tuesday.

She moved to McMinnville in 1950 and in 1951 graduated from McMinnville High School.

She married John Crawfort in McMinnville in 1963.

Mrs. Crawfort moved to Spokane in 1964 and then in 1983 to Franklin, Miss. In 1984, she moved to Salem, Ore., and then back to McMinnville in 1985.

Mrs. Crawfort was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McMinnville.

Her husband died in 1970.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Crawfort of Queensbury, N.Y., and Rick Crawfort of Las Vegas; her mother, Ruth Morris of McMinnville; a sister, Karen Rubio of Salem, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

Dorothy Kuhle Pullman

Memorial service for Dorothy Mary Kuhle, 93, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Pullman. Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Kuhle, who was born in Duluth, Minn., died Monday.

She graduated from high school in Duluth and later moved to Sioux Falls, S.D.

In 1923 she married Otto Kuhle in Sioux Falls and she was a homemaker and nurse for several years.

They later moved to Salem, S.D., and in 1965 she moved to Spokane.

Her husband died in 1961.

Mrs. Kuhle moved to Pullman eight years ago from Spokane.

She was a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Kuhle and a son, Scott Kuhle, both of Pullman; a sister, Lynn Gallagher of Minneapolis; a brother, Leslie Tusch of Soap Lake, Wash.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
