That’s Using Your Noodle

A Chinese chef stretched 2.2 pounds of dough into 65,536 fine noodles that measured 328,680 feet end to end, the Xinhua News Agency said Thursday. Xinhua claimed the feat was a Guinness world record, but Guinness has no such category. Li Enhai, who once cooked for Chinese leaders, took just 20 minutes to make noodles as thin as hair. Li now works in a five-star hotel in the Xinjiang region of northwest China. In China, long noodles are associated with longevity.
