Nursing Home Admissions Halted

State regulators on Friday banned new admissions to Sullivan Park Care Center for the second time this year.

The Valley nursing home violated state and federal standards of care during an inspection Nov. 19.

Sullivan Park, 14820 E. Fourth, also was banned from admitting new patients in February. The ban was lifted in April.

The Department of Social and Health Services can levy up to $3,000 in fines on facilities that fail state and federal licensing requirements.

The 125-bed Sullivan Park is owned and operated by Care Center Inc.
