Mr. And Mrs. Hughes Spokane

Harold Edward and Frances Lorraine Hughes, Spokane, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family reception and dinner on Thanksgiving.

Hosts for the dinner were their children and spouses: Cheryl and Gene Roberts, Cheney; Janine and Vern Arneson Jr., Gary and Millie Hughes, Pamela and Orvill Arnold, and Debra and James Pendleton, all of Spokane; and Gayla and Gilbert Pierson, Pullman.

The Hughes were married Nov. 26, 1937, in Spokane. They have 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
