Santa Claus Files Area Flight Plan

Santa Claus will make his annual flight through Spokane, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene starting Monday with the help of Tidyman’s grocery stores.

He will fly through the sky on a light system hung on cables below a Tidyman’s helicopter. Santa will be visible from about 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday along a route that generally follows the Spokane River from Airway Heights to the Coeur d’Alene golf course.

Viewers within a quarter-mile of the following areas will be able to see Santa and his reindeer, weather permitting.

Felts Field, 6:35 p.m.

Riverfront Park, 6:40 and 7:20 p.m.

Joe Albi Stadium, 6:45 p.m.

Airway Heights, 6:55 p.m.

Fairchild Air Force Base, 7 p.m.

Qualchan Golf Course, 7:10 p.m.

Argonne Road, 7:30 p.m.

Sullivan Road, 7:40 p.m.

Liberty Lake, 7:50 p.m.

Post Falls, 7:55 and 8:20 p.m.

Coeur d’Alene lakeshore, 8:05 p.m.

Coeur d’Alene golf course, 8:10 p.m.

Hayden Lake, 8:15 p.m.

Otis Orchards, 8:25 p.m.
